The only obligation is to meet with you for thirty (30) minutes to discuss your case and what your options may be.
In order to create an attorney-client relationship, you must decide to hire this Firm and your attorney must agree to represent you. Any representation will be created by both you and the Firm signing an agreement outlining the terms and conditions of that representation (the “Agreement”) including, but not limited to, the matter, the scope, and the cost of representation.
Scheduling: The time slots available through this application may or may not be available on the attorney’s calendar. Attorney calendars are subject to change due to other matters, hearings, mediations, discovery, and client needs. As such, once you book this appointment, you will receive a call from the Firm’s receptionist who will confirm the booking time, or work with you to find a mutually convenient and available time and schedule the actual appointment. Appointments can be over the phone (preferred) or in person at our Severna Park Offices.
Cost: The cost of a thirty (30) minute consultation is one hundred dollars ($100.00) for an over the phone consultation and two hundred dollars ($200.00) for an in-person appointment. Pricing is subject to change at the Firm’s sole discretion, but the price reflected here will be the price that you pay. Please note that if you request an in-person appointment, you will be invoiced for the balance prior to the appointment. Appointments not fully paid for are subject to cancellation.
Cancellation: We understand that things happen. If you need to cancel an appointment, we ask for at least two (2) hours advanced notice. Similarly, in rare instances something comes up with an attorney and we may need to reschedule you. Any rescheduling by the Firm will take place in a timely manner.
Refunds: Consultation and appointment fees are no refundable one the consultation has taken place, regardless of if you and the attorney decide to proceed with representation or not.
Cancellation: You may cancel the consultation/appointment at any time, with no penalty, up to two (2) hours prior to the appointment. If the appointment has not been cancelled two (2) hours prior to the appointment, the Firm reserves the right to charge you for the attorney’s time and the fee becomes non-refundable.
